the Nevada desert in the 30’s, where the barren landscape was
as ubiquitous as the tattered social fabric of the great depression,
growing up was a kaleidoscope of wonderful revelations and traumatic
experiences. The unforgettable beauty of the desert traced a lasting
reference in Jack Chambers’ mind while the devastation awakened
his spirit. This experience would eventually speak from the deep recesses
